2.1 Who we are
The Purpose Pinwheel Podcast (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an unincorporated collaboration between Marketing Detective Agency Limited (company no. 12450030), trading as The Marketing Detective Agency, registered office 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX; and Inkshed Ltd (company no. 14151418), trading as Becks Neale, registered office Inkshed Design Studio, 133 High Street, Cricklade, Wiltshire SN6 6AQ. Purpose Pinwheel is not itself a separate legal entity — the two companies operate it jointly, and each remains separately responsible for its own wider business.
For UK GDPR purposes, both companies act as joint data controllers of personal data collected through the Service.
2.2 Data we collect
Guest applications: name, business name, email, your pitch/answers, any links or social profiles shared.
Diagnostic tool: your answers, and email if you request results.
Booking: recording slots are booked in your guest portal on this site. We record the date and time slot you choose against your guest record — no third-party booking tool is involved.
Guest portal: we issue a secure token-based access link by email and log when it's used, rather than a username/password login.
Email correspondence: sent via Resend, with delivery/bounce/complaint records kept.
Technical data: we do not currently run analytics or tracking; if that changes, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated first.
2.3 Why we process your data
Contract (assessing applications, arranging recordings, managing the relationship); consent (e.g. requesting Diagnostic results, future non-essential cookies); legitimate interests (record-keeping, enquiries, admin).
2.4 Who we share it with
Processors acting on our instructions: our database hosting provider and Resend (transactional email). We don't sell data or share it for third parties' own advertising.
2.5 International transfers
Where our providers process data outside the UK, we rely on their standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
2.6 How long we keep your data
Declined/potential guests: 24 months from last contact, then deleted or anonymised. Booked/completed guests: life of the published episode plus 12 months. Diagnostic-only responses: 12 months, unless you've separately applied as a guest.
2.7 Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent, under UK GDPR. Contact guests@thepurposepinwheelpodcast.com.

2.9 Children
Not directed at anyone under 18.
2.10 Security
Reasonable technical/organisational measures, including access controls and token-based (not password) guest portal access.
2.11 Complaints

2.12 Changes
We may update this policy; “Last updated” reflects the most recent change.
